Ingredients:
½ cup all purpose
flour (Maida)
½ cup Wheat flour
(Chapatti flour)
1 Tbsp. Wheat
cream (Semolina / sooji/rava)
½ cup unsalted
butter (Room temperature)
1 Tbsp. Crushed
almond or your choice of nut
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. Cardamom
powder
1 tsp. Baking
powde
Instructions:
Take a mixing bowl,
mix all dry ingredients.
In another mixing
bowl, beat sugar and room temperature butter well.
Now Add dry mixture to the beaten sugar and butter
mixture.
Mix everything well and foam like dough.
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F
Make small golf size balls and place the balls about half
inches a part on an ungreased cookie-baking tray.
When done place the baking tray into the preheated oven.
Let it bake about 15mins at 350 degrees F.
After 10mins, bring oven temperature to 170 degrees F.
Bake another about 10-12mins so that naan khatai cooks well
inside also.
After 10-12mins, turn off the oven but do not take out the
tray yet. let it be in oven for another 20-25mins.
Take out tray after 20mins or so and let it cool for about
10mins.
Naan Khatai is ready………
